Should I bring my own pet food?
Four Paws Pet Ranch provides an excellent diet of highest-quality kibble mixed with meat. Cats are provided with a variety of foods to tempt their palate. If you want to keep your pet on his own special diet, feel free to bring it along with your pet.
Are their any requirements for vaccinations prior to boarding my pet?
Four Paws Pet Ranch requires all pets to be current on their vaccinations, not only for their protection but for other boarders as well.
They are:
- Rabies

- DLHPP
What happens if my pet becomes ill during the time he is boarded?
When your pet is brought to the kennel to be “checked in,” Four Paws Pet Ranch requests certain information regarding your pet; including whom to contact in case of an emergency and what veterinarian is to be called if needed.
Will my dog get fleas or ticks while being boarded?
The facilities at Four Paws Pet Ranch have been constructed to discourage the infestation of fleas and ticks. All pets are checked periodically and any pets infested by parasites are bathed and dipped by the groomer.
What if my dog or cat needs medication?
There is no charge for basic medications, and will be given as directed.
Are the dogs exercised?
Sitting on over 5 acres we are all about your pet getting the exercise they need and enjoying the outdoors.
What if I want my dog bathed or groomed before he comes home?
If you want your pet bathed, make arrangements at check in time and our experienced groomer will bathe or groom your dog prior to being picked up.
What happens if my pet dies while he is being boarded?
It is always possible for a pet to die due to causes beyond the control of any kennel operator, even the best and most careful. Four Paws Pet Ranch has 24-hour supervision every day of the year. Arrangements will be made according to the owner’s wishes.
How can I be sure that my pet will get adequate personal attention during the time I am gone?
All pets boarded at Four Paws Pet Ranch are directly supervised by the in-residence owners. Attendants are trained on how to handle the pets and give them daily personal attention on a regular basis. Every pet is given the same consideration and care their owner would provide.
